Can Anybody Tell Me What the LORD is Like?
He's Not Like Anyone Else...

God is holy. He set apart from everything and everyone else because He alone is so great and is perfectly, purely good and so great . He never sins in anything He does or think, feels or plans. He hates sin because sin is not good or loving. Anything that is sinful cannot come into His presence. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for His people’s sins, exchanging their UN-holiness for His perfect holiness. Now they can truly know God. God calls His people to live for Him by being holy as He is holy. In heaven, God will change His people so they will be perfectly holy all the time. They will live in His presence forever.

Concept 6 Scripture Verse: Isaiah 6:1-3
I saw the LORD seated on a throne, high and exalted...Above Him were seraphs, each with six wings; And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty.

A throne is a great, big chair that someone very important sits on. The LORD is so holy--so good and great--that He is most important of all. Seraphs are a kind of angel with six wings that stand around God’s throne as guards of God’s greatness and goodness. The seraphim don’t just stand guard; they praise God, too--in loud voices. That’s why they cry out, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty. He is so holy that they say it three times!”
